Feed back from the 2012 surveys
The feed back from the 2012 service user questionnaires made for some interesting reading. On the whole we are doing quite well, on the service user involvement we could be doing better. We have tried many times to get our service users involved in the service and will continue to do so.
The most complained about aspect was the times of arrival of staff, or lateness. A copy of the results can be downloaded here in graph format.

If you think something isn't right
If you think something is not running as well as it could be with our service let us know. We have a complaints procedure, its all in the service user guide or get in touch.
Better still get involved with what we do, we will always make time for any service user to come and visit us.
Free training for carers & family
Here at Bronte we provide lots of training for our staff we are now in a position where we would like to ask if any service users or their family members would be interested in attending any of the training sessions free of charge.
Changes to our staff
At Bronte Care Services we are always welcoming new staff to the team, many of these new staff want to progress and grow with the company.
We are now delighted to inform everyone that we now have four senior carer’s.
These carers have many years experience in the care sector, some you will know as they have been with us for a long time, others will be new faces bringing new ideas and to continually develop Bronte Care Services.
The new DBS check
The new CRB came out earlier in June, they are now called DBS checks, which is Disclosure and Barring Service checks. The changes are the name to DBS, and also these checks can be updated annually by the carer, this makes them portable so they move with the carer.
In the past carer’s may have had to apply for several CRB’s within the course of a year.if they changed jobs.
