Companionship Service

The feeling of loneliness can be a serious problem as we get older; there are problems with getting out and about and feeling cut off from friends and relations.

One of the aims of Bronte Care Services is to ease the pain of loneliness and bring back some fulfilment and joy to those who feel trapped and alone in their own homes.

We are able to tailor this service to suit your needs whether calling for an hour per week or once per month.

Here are Just a few of the services we offer

• Call in for chat and a cup of tea
• Join in with hobbies and crafts
• Help with reading
• Arrange appointments
• Go to lunch or dinner
• Play games (cards etc)
• Reminisce about the past
• Attend church etc.

Although Bronte Care offers this service, we can also signpost you to volunteer services who offer befriending and companionship.

Whatever you requirements, be it a day out socialising with friends or someone to pop in occasionally for a chat let Bronte care know and we will be only too happy to help.
